Creative Team Challenges

From enjoying an adrenaline-pumping event by participating in white water rafting at a picturesque location to going barefoot into a paddy field clad in Sri Lankan traditional cloths to plant Paddy: delight, amaze, explore and express with our truly imaginative and creative teambuilding events: here are a few of the many on offer….


A fun filled competition where participants are required to attire accordingly – Male Participants in loincloth and bare body (if you must, a t- shirt is allowed) and the Female Participants in a short “Sarong” and a short blouse. Barefoot, all participants must get into to a “muddy” Paddy Field. Each Participant is given a row and Paddy Plants. When the whistle is blown, the participants must start planting the Paddy along each row. This will not be easy as the mud will make it difficult to move about and some might even fall in… The first one to finish planting will be the winner.

Coordinated Game - Bridge on the River Kwai in Kitulgala

This is 1957. You are part of a construction team who is assigned to build a bridge over the famous Kelani river to shoot “bride of the river Quai”. [ Film which finally won 7 academy awards ] You are on one side of the river and the other team is on the other river bank.

There were no cell phones or whatever modern communications you have today.

How would you build a perfect single bridge as two teams to send a train across ”

Coordinated Game - BB flute

Usually a flute has less than 10 holes to blow air in order to create a piece of music.

But our giant “BB flute” has plenty of holes and instead of air we use water. Your task is to play the holes right and produce the right result at the correct time.


After visiting a Tea Plantation and a Tea Factory, a Tea Plucking Contest will begin. Ladies, accompanied by spouse, will be given a basket to be strapped to the shoulder before positioning themselves in the tea bushes. Once the starting whistle is blown, the process will begin with plucking the requisite two leaves and a tea bud and toss them over the shoulder, into the basket. The spouses must maintain the timing and take the filled tea baskets to the weighing shed where the winner is judged according to the weight of the plucking’s. A 15-minute time frame is given for this entire process.

Theme Nights / Gala Dinners

Theme nights and Gala Dinners are to relax, refresh and bond with your colleagues …..Perfect entertainment for an incentive tour


The beach will be lit up with fire torches and the guests are requested to come in shorts. The layout will be at the Beach, where a Bonfire will be set to compliment the evening. The guest will sit around the fire and enjoy a BBQ dinner, while being entertained by a Calypso Music Band.


An adventurous evening spent in a jungle can be experienced in the premises close to the hotel. The area will be illuminated with flame torches along the path from the Hotel Survivor (TV Series) style. The food, local & western, will be cooked in clay posts placed on rocks. Guests seated on rocks and on the ground will be served with food on a Banana leaf by personnel who will be dressed like "Veddhas" (existing stone-aged tribe). Performance of "Veddha Dance" will be the highlight of the evening.


A very local atmosphere created with several food stalls made of cadjan roofs, where different types of exotic foods will be offered. All service personnel will be attired in "Sarong" and "Lungi". Soft Sri Lankan music will be provided during Dinner by a local Band. The evening will be climaxed by a Kandyan Dance Performance with Fire Walking.


A buffet presenting the best of Sri Lankan Cuisine famous for its rich spices and hot flavors. These will include action stations where chefs will demonstrate some of the favorite items plus traditional sweetmeats. Rustic and Ethnic décor using Coconut Palm Leaves, Jute and Tropical table arrangements and fire torches casting shadows on the back drop. Fire Limbo – creating excitement and a sense of adventure.


Western style with Sea Food and BBQ. All participants are requested to come in western attire. Western Music will be provided by a Live Band.
